Chiropody (Foot Care)

About the Program

A Chiropodist is a person who specializes in the assessment, treatment and prevention of diseases, disorders and dysfunctions of the foot.

The chiropodist offers a wide range of treatments, including:

  • Care for ingrown nails, fungal nails, calluses, warts, diabetic ulcers, skin conditions
  • Soft tissue surgeries
  • Orthotic therapy for gait and biomechanical issues
  • Preventative care education

Eligibility

  • **DUE TO COVID 19, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING OUT PATIENT REFEERALLS FOR BOTH OUR QUEEN WEST AND PARKDALE SITES FOR NOW**
  • Seniors
  • Individuals with diabetes
  • Individuals who are homeless or underhoused

Languages of Service

This program is offered in English, with interpretation available if needed.

  • Parkdale: Monday – Friday.  Please call for hours.
  • Queen West: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-3:30pm
