Medical Care

About the Program

We offer primary health care services for registered clients of all ages. Our Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians work with social workers, physiotherapist, chiropodists, dietitians, diabetes specialists, psychiatrists, naturopaths, health promoters, harm reduction and outreach workers to treat the whole person. We provide a range of services including:

  • Preventative health care
  • Treatment and management of acute and chronic health conditions
  • Ongoing follow up for health care
  • Pre and post natal care
  • Reproductive health care
  • Birth control
  • Well baby care
  • Immunizations and flu shots
  • 24 hour on call physician support
  • Home visits
  • Medical care for uninsured clients
  • Smoking cessation support

Eligibility

Clients must be registered with the health centre to use our services.  Please be advised that we are not a hospital or a walk-in clinic. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency department.Services are provided in English.  Interpretation is available if needed.

Dates & Hours

  • Parkdale site: Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm; Friday 9am-5pm; Saturday 10am-1pm (Drop-in only)
  • Queen West site: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 8am-8pm; Tuesday 1:30pm-5pm; Friday 8am-5pm
