KAPOW (Knowledge and Power of Women)

About the Program

Join us weekly for a harm reduction-based, sex-positive, trans-inclusive BREAKFAST to reconnect with the community!

KAPOW is a harm reduction-based, sex-positive, trans-inclusive, peer-supported drop-in. The program includes a nutritious breakfast and is offered in partnership with Sistering.

Our weekly activities are developed with KAPOW members and include health education workshops, safer sex and drug use information, mindfulness-based stress reduction, bad date reports, safer sex work strategies, and social justice activism. We also play games, watch movies, and make arts and crafts!
