Seniors Programming Details

About the Program

Our senior’s health promotion programming promotes healthy ageing through regular group educational, social, and physical activities as well as advocacy on issues affecting the wellbeing of low-income and marginalized seniors.

Seniors Advocacy & Advisory “Seniors In Action” Working Group: This is a closed Committee. Group meets once a month to discuss relevant issues and to plan community actions to improve services for seniors.

 Pole Walking/Exercise Program: This is a seasonal outdoor program. Spring/Summer season happens every Monday from 11:30 – 12:30 noon in a local park.

Seniors Drop In: Program Happens every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.  Due to the pandemic, group is limited to 10 participants, and they Must be registered. Program currently Full.

Tablet Time Program: Dates to be announced. If interested call to register and get more details.

 

Virtual Programs:

Chair Yoga Class: Every Monday from 2-3 pm. 

Apart But Together Program: Every Wednesday from 2-3 pm

 

Always there are other programs that are offered on a one time or limited time basis.
