Statement on 215 Indigenous Children found buried at Kamloops Indian Residential School

We join Indigenous Peoples across Canada as we collectively grieve the lives of 215 children found on the site of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School.

We call upon the Canadian government to take swift action towards fully implementing the recommendations in the 2015 Truth and Reconciliation Commission report.

We join in solidarity with demands for action and will work to push for them, knowing that to remain silent or take no action is to be complicit with these genocidal acts.
