The iPHARE program: provides harm reduction programming within specific shelter settings to decrease overdose and health risks associated with isolation; increases harm reduction capacity of shelter staff through focused workshops and education; and, develop community within shelter to increase wellbeing, safety and connection to resources and care for residents

  • Resident harm reduction programs and groups,
  • Overdose response with Oxygen,
  • Access to harm reduction supplies and needle exchange services,
  • Drug checking results and alerts,
  • Peer training and implementation.
