Harm Reduction Rooms

About the Program

Our Harm Reduction rooms provide a safe and welcoming environment for people to  discuss safer drug use and safer sex practices, and/or get referrals to programs and other supports at our centre and in the community. Service and supplies include:

  • Safer injection kits
  • Crack kits
  • Other safer drug use equipment (e.g. cookers, water, ties, vitamin C, and sharps containers)
  • Smoking foils
  • Crystal meth pipes
  • Foil chasing the dragon smoking kits
  • Naloxone distribution
  • Safer body piercing kits
  • Testosterone/steroid kits
  • Safer sex supplies (lube, condoms, dental dams)
  • Safe disposal of used harm reduction equipment
  • Community clean up

Our harm reduction program provides client support, system navigation, crisis de-escalation; client and community harm reduction trainings and presentations, naloxone training, community development and health promotion.

Dates & Hours

  • Parkdale:
    • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 12 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (last call at 7:30 p.m.)
    • Wednesday 1 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (last call at 7:30p.m.)
    • Friday 12 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (last call at 4:30 p.m.)
  • Queen West:
    • Monday, Thursday, Friday 10am – 4pm;
    • Tuesday 1pm – 8pm;
    • Wednesday 10am – 8pm
