The Nail Technicians’ Network (NTN) is a grassroots organization initiated by nail technicians with the support of PQWCHC and the Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic in 2017.
The Nail Technicians’ Network was identified as a need by nail technicians as a way to unite, educate and engage workers in this career to make salons better places to work. The intention is to take on issues such as: choosing a salon to work at, informing the public about healthy salon standards, protecting your health at work, training opportunities and workplace rights.
The Nail Technicians’ Network membership is actively being developed through socials, workshops, and civic engagement opportunities.
