
The Nail Salon Workers Project (NSWP) has received funding from the Metcalf Foundation to expand the NSWP to Black and Latin American nail technicians. This project will focus on building safer nail salons by understanding and addressing health and labour issues facing Black and/or Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking nail technicians working in discount nail salons.
Additionally, this project will support the Nail Technicians Network (NTN) to build a broader base by: outreaching to nail technicians, engaging nail technicians in training opportunities and providing opportunities to advocate for better working conditions.
